TESTIMONIALS

"Project 1 (status report and recommendations)
HomeVision Surveillance was contracted to conduct a system analysis of our surveillance system.  The system consisted of 24 cameras (13 interior and 11 exterior), 2x power distribution boxes (1 in each building), 2x 16ch digital video recorders (DVR’s) and a 22in LCD display monitor.
Owner Ted Brady and fellow technician George conducted a 3 hour evaluation of our system.  A detailed report was presented to me a few days later outlining the systems’ current status, options of repair and maintenance including recommendations, options and of course, cost.
The 3 hour inspection was reasonably priced.  We looked favorably at the fact that HomeVision Surveillance was locally based; the business produced the relevant contractor documentation that our policy requires when we outsource.  Finally, Ted and George were friendly, polite and courteous.  Above all, they were professional in their approach. We hardly noticed their presence at all.

Project 2 (implement recommendations outlined in Project 1)
We further contracted HomeVison Surveillance to put in place Ted’s recommendations to upgrade our system incorporating new technologies that allowed existing coaxial cable to be utilized as data cable thus avoiding the huge expense of a total rewire.  The end result is that we have achieved far greater coverage of the property displayed in at least 5x the resolution of our old system.  In addition our data is stored for 60 days and not the 2 days as before!
The system can be remotely accessed and viewed globally on any wireless device or desktop computer with Internet access.
Ted and his crew once again, conducted themselves professionally, resulting in a seamless upgrade form old to new!  This is in sharp contrast to our previous Surveillance contractor.  We have found Ted to be available anytime if needed post installation."

"Due to sporadic acts of vandalism on vehicles in a small cul-de-sac over a period of time, the owner of a property that is managed by my office, instructed me to install a surveillance system.  A friend of mine referred me to Ted Brady and HomeVision Surveillance in San Mateo.
After a few meetings a proposal was agreed upon and a contract drawn up to proceed.  Ted installed the system with minimum inconvenience to the tenants and in a friendly and professional manner."

"Ted installed a super system on my house that I can easily view from my iPhone, iPad and of course my laptop and PC.  At first, I felt that I had made a mistake as It was a little over my budget.  My feelings changed when we switched it on.  It displayed just as I was told it would but it looked better than that!  A MS Windows based Server and 5 exterior cameras totaling 15 Megapixels all of which display a fantastic picture.
I went with his recommendation for the front of the house which was for a 180degree camera.  This camera is amazing as it can display the 180degree view, seamlessly on any device.  I appreciated Ted’s sense of awareness to the surroundings at hand and his respect to my property at all times.
Any exterior modifications or additions in the form conduit or carpentry were all left primed and painted.  (I assumed I would be calling my painter who would have charged at least $200!)
In addition, I had Ted install a video intercom entryway system.  Again, a very clean installation with the monitor in my kitchen.  He was also able to integrate my 30 year old existing doorbell which was the nail on the head for me!
I feel a whole lot more secure now and comfortable as I enjoy my retired years!!"

"Ted and Mickey from HomeVision were great. We have a lot of weapons and ammunition.  Changes in our insurance coverage mandated we install video surveillance.  I met Ted in San Mateo some months prior and found his card.  At the shop we surveyed my needs and agreed on the hardware to move forward.
A week later Ted and Mickey were pulling cable.  After the 2nd day of installation, my surveillance system was fully operational.  With a recorder onsite to store the bulk of the recorded data and an additional recorder at my house recording separate feeds from 2 IP cameras, I was now able to remotely monitor the business when absent.  I actually found it more useful when a staff member would call me at home and ask me a question about a customer.  If I couldn’t remember the customer by name, I would just pull up the ‘live’ feed on my laptop to get a visual of the customer and address the issue at hand.
The system cost a little above average but the quality of work performed by Ted and Mickey, coupled with the overall experience I had with HomeVision, now made the deal very well priced."
